Weather forecasters say Ho Chi Minh City will see several more days of heavy rain, with a strengthening convergence zone bringing one or two intense rain spells during October.
What to expect
- Daily rainfall of about 30-60 mm, and over 70 mm in some places, with rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening.
- Possible intensification around October 5-6, with rain continuing through mid-October.
- Thunder, lightning and strong gusts with localized flooding in poorly drained areas.
